Get um Todd!
The price of bats went up? I paid $300 for my Ultra II and Original Freak in 2003. Man, those bats were hot. 15 + years later and $350 is the norm. That is not too bad an increase.

I still have my original Ultra in my basement. I turned it in to get the seal removed, got it back, and have never swung it again. I should get that thing listed on ebay at some point.

You have the original grey Ultra1 Maxload?
People that have had or swung the original Maxload know that the UltraII wasn't the best bat by far. And actually, the rare original Boombah Cannon beats the UltraII.
Nowadays, all senior bats are insane.
Back in the day, you would have gotten a very nice chuck of money for a Grey Ultra Max with ASA stamps (like 7-8 hundo)...obviously more for 26 and 27oz than a 29oz. People were painting these to look like other bats so you had jackazzes paying thru the nose for a Og Ultra to have someone paint it. I think the market def slowed
and lessened on the price because of all the bats that have come out...like the 3000 years of the UltraII's being made and even reissues of the Og. Also, with testing,
no Ultra would pass compression anyway so painting I think has kinda died off a while ago.
You still have collectors that may be interested in a real Og Max and pay decent money.
