I see 3 different 12” gloves, Japanese tanned U.S. Steerhide, Pittard’s palm lining, snug fit, sounds promising! No 11.75” size though, don’t understand that?

I had been casually looking for something for my 10 year old son who has worn out his previous high-end youth Rawlings glove but is just not quite ready physically for an adult model. When I saw ANNASDAD's post and took a look at the gloves and price point, I ordered one for my son. It arrived yesterday, and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of the glove given the price point. This will be a great glove for him for a couple of years at which point I hope he's ready to move into an adult model. Thanks for the heads up on these gloves and for those out there looking, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on one of these gloves.

All their gloves are made with Japanese leather and I found they really hold up. We have a dozen or so of the various All-Star gloves in the house at different points of break in. Generally we keep the reigning glove and an heir around especially catchers mitts. No youth models because kids are adults now.

If you have questions do reach out to them as they are great people. I know them personally.

That’s great to know, even though I never liked the laces on my CMW3000, that mitt has been a brick! It’s definitely very worn and getting thin and loose, but I’m pretty sure it’ll last this senior year before Anna goes to college. With a glove, or any of my hobbies / purchases, I always ask one question.......would you buy it again! With my CMW3000, absolutely yes, it’s been a great mitt!!

Now let’s get real with the leather, only the highest grade All-Stars get the Japanese Maruhashi leather, like the System Seven series, and unless I’m mistaken the only fastpitch glove that uses the Maruhashi leather is my CMW3000. The new youth series and the older Vela series fastpitch gloves use Japanese tanned U.S. Steerhide, which is great leather!

The 2019 Professional series fastpitch gloves use Maruhashi leather, for their price point, that’s very impressive, still hate their laces!

I hope on the 2019 gloves they offer something different than the
pull straps .

I just noticed that Dandan, redesigned somewhat like the Liberty Advanced......wish they’d just concentrate on making the hand stall smaller and more snug for the young female hand (which I’m sure they already are) and just make them with a normal baseball button lap wrist.

I didn't think that was the case, I thought only the catchers glove had that leather. I own one of the catchers gloves and the 2019 12" model (and 2 of the 2018 models) and I think they are different. I could be wrong but I don't see the fielders gloves listed with Maruhashi anywhere (not even their printed catalog).

I keep buying all star gloves thinking my daughter will take to them and she just doesn't like them. I love all-star but the gloves are just "off" from being great gamers.
