You need to untie that web knob and re-tie it backwards to get it to lay parallel with the web spiral. It’s been discussed here many times about Vinci’s stubborn palm pads on their catchers mitts, they have a memory and it’s very hard to get them to change their “mind”. I’ve beat several of their mitts to the point I thought I was going to tear something. I had a “22” series that kicked my butt, didn’t ever think I was going to get it usable!
Thanks. Took a second but figured that knot out.

if you decide to tackle the rest of the laces it isn't too bad. Pretty good access if you just undue the bottom lace.

This is a Fortus that I did red on the outer and then bloodline on the inside. The kid said "why didn't you do this when I was using it?!" I guess that means it was kid approved. Lol. I just wanted to clean it up to get it sold. New laces and broke in...should be easy to sell.

If you don't plan to use the glove then why buy it?

That can be answered two ways........first, you’d be surprised at the amount of people who just buy, collect and shelve gloves, of course I’d never shelve a Vinci catchers mitt, it’s not like they’re rare or hard to get!

And second.........don’t buy a glove with white laces, they’re terrible! The dyeing process just kills the leather!
