First post here, glad to have found the forum!

My Daughter is 11, about 5'5", and left handed. I have been trying to find the right glove but finding a left hand throw she can put on and feel but it seems to be about impossible. I just bought a https://www.rawlings.com/product/P-RLAFB.html off of Amazon for $130.00, my concern is that it is a 13" and I am not sure how she will do with a glove that large. I saw the suggestions for a Vinci Optimus on another thread but 399.00 is not in the budget currently and to be honest I am not familiar with the glove/brand. So looking for feedback and suggestions, thanks in advance!

DD (2B/CF) loves her Bradley Glove and several others on here also swear by them. Good quality without breaking the bank. They have several different levels of gloves and a good return policy so you can try out several and return the ones that don't work. Here are a few, but surf the site as there are lots of options in various designs and colors.

For the vinci, hit up Drakemir here. He'll give you a massive deal on an optimus or any Vinci. As far as glove size, my DD was using a full size at 11. Once they get used to it, it's not a big deal.

I thought it seemed like a great deal as well so I jumped on it, it will be here Monday so we will see how it fits. I will keep the RV1961 in mind if she ends up needing a new fielding glove.

The Bradleys seem to be priced reasonably but I am not familiar with them, I will do some research and see what she thinks.

Does Drakemir frequent the site? What is the best way to get in touch?

So you bought the All-Star? If so I’ll definitely be interested to hear about the hand stall size. And yes, Drakemir is our forum Vinci rep here, you can send him a PM straight from this site.

No, sorry I must have misunderstood. I was talking about the Rawlings Liberty I linked in the first post. I looked at the All-Star, I was curious if there is a difference between a baseball vs softball difference. I will have her try the liberty when it arrives and go from there.

My daughter and I use the Liberty Advanced line. DD loves her 1B mitt and fielders glove and I really like my catchers mitt.

nooooooo....... I missed my chance ;) I have a LHT JBV-SB (1st base mitt) that I have been looking to move for a while now, just never run into LHT throwing first basemen anymore. Would have gave you a sweet deal on it tooo..damn holiday travels and not around a computer... haha

And just to add, the optimus are sweet gloves (even sweeter at my price) but I normally don't recommend them for that age level (but every situation is different of course!)

Dave/Drake -

Happy Holidays all :)

DD loved her Liberty Advanced when she played 1B for about a year. It starting getting a little floppy after spring HS and summer club seasons though.
