I'm partial to the simple version on the left, like a Wilson EL3. We have one and it feels very similar to an H web, the wider post versions probably would play shallower.

My only problem/issue with a single post is the minimal lacing contact point connecting the base of the web to the crotch, there's just so much more structure there with a H or I web. The H-web for example, it actually has a wide base made to the bottom of the web and is laced across the entire bottom of the web to the shell crotch. The I-web has a double "X" pattern connecting the web to the crotch, and in most cases Rawlings doubles up the lace in the "X's". Just seems to be a much stronger connecting point which could potentially avoid lace hole tear out in the future.......of course this wouldn't apply to me, I'd never wear it out! But for girls like our DD's who play 10 months out of the year...........seamonky, any issues with your DD's single post glove?

I-web all day. I doubt a 12" glove would be used for outfield, so I think a shallower pocket would be better for quick transfers in the infield. One can also make the pocket deeper on an I-web, if so desired, by loosening the lacing. Not sure if an H-web can be made to play less deep.

It's still a four hole attachment, though, just like those other webs. Hers is laced with 1/4" lace and looks fine through three months of fall ball.

I had a retail NP6 about a year ago, GREAT pattern! And it's one of the only Rawlings that actually measured over it's 12" listed size, if I remember correctly it measured 12.125" which is odd for Rawlings, they almost always measure a 1/4" shorter than their listed / stamped size!

#10, the NP series (Neifi Perez) is more of a man's glove than a teenage girls glove......pretty full hand stall size, for a guy playing slowpitch a 12" NP6 with a H-web would be money at 3B or SS, but a SS would also love the I-web, but for 2B, I'd definitely want the I-web! Truth be known either web would work for all 3 of those positions very well. I should say depending on skill set (and eyesight) a 12" NP6 is absolutely as small as I'd go at 3B......I've seen guys use 13"+ gloves at 3B, I never did though.

In slowpitch, pitchers and 3B have bullseyes plastered all over them, sometimes bigger is definitely better!
