I've got your 1929 as loosened up as much as I want to go, your DD should be able to practice with it as soon as you get it back. I'll *try* my best to get it shipped out today.

Looking good....any mid-finger lacing these days or not? Also, Fort83 make sure you have some emergency repair laces and tools handy just in case. On DD1's BV1929-L the mid-finger laces let go within the first year. DD2's Optimus 1929 let go within 3 months. Great gloves and my girls love them but they could be so much better with Tanner )or equivalent) lace. Haven't had any issue on the RV1961 yet but it uses the same black Vinci lace.

Yes, it has mid-finger lace, this is the first 1929 I've ever handled and for some reason I was thinking it didn't have mid-finger lace?

They can't make up their mind with it...some batches have it, some don't. Keep an eye on it.

Wouldnt be surprised as that one is a LHT that it has the laces from back when they had them in them - I havnt checked my new batch to see if the new ones have it "again"

AD - Is that masking tape or duct tape around the barbell?

I've been using a homemade ball mallet (plunger handle screwed into a 12" ball) - but am wondering if I should find something smaller for breaking in a baseball catchers glove.

Do you use the weight to form the pocket, or just to loosen the heel/webbing?
