I know. The SOFTBALL gloves are lacking. I have a Global Elite and love it, but I would love to see Pro series softball specific gloves.

Yeah, I caught what you said, but who looks at actual softball gloves?

Although.... Mizuno has taken a step in the right direction doing away with velcro on their Pro Select fastpitch gloves, if you like your Global Elite, you should take a look at the Pro Select, definitely a notch above!

Come on man, household minimum is 10, that's a nice round even number that covers a lot of bases!

We're only up to 5 gloves so I guess we should get moving!

On a side note, regarding the H-back, we were looking at the new A2000 fastpitch models and it's weird that Wilson doesn't even offer a new H-back in an outfield size 12.5"+, even customized (unless we're blind). They do have 2015 12.75" models on clearance that are H-back, but not new ones. Wilson does offer an I-back in 12.5" with a lot of intricate lacing but DD doesn't like that look. Same for the Mizuno Pro-Select, no H-backs in the women's fastpitch specific gloves.

I’m seeing a theme here.....a pattern if you will, you keep using words like “women’s” and “fastpitch”?? Don’t you know the manufacturers could care less about your softball playing girl? Start using words like “baseball” and watch all the new glove possibilities start to appear! True story......

Edit: I stand corrected. I did find a customizable 12.75" A2000 but no 12.5". I take it the 12.75" would definitely be an outfield-only glove...that might be too big for any infield utility play but great for outfield.

Can’t speak for everyone, but for us, 12.75” would be for outfield or 1B only. I’ve seen many times girls using 12.75” and even 13” gloves, but they ALWAYS belonged to their dad’s! You rarely, or never see a glove that big in the infield at the college level and just below in elite TB organizations. But hey, never say never......

Let's do the math to determine how many gloves you should have. The correct formula for this condition is...

x+1 = n

"x" is the number of gloves you have now. "n" is the number of gloves you should have.

If you share this information with your DW, I'm sure she will agree with the conclusion. You can't argue with math!
