(in my best British Sotheby's Auction voice) a Rawlings 12.25" HOH Pro1000-6JBPRO. This is a PI Spring Training glove! I had planned to give this one the tan lace treatment and save it for Anna for a college glove.....but lots of gloves can come and go in the next 5 years.
I was going to post this on SoftballFans but the hand stall is so snug I thought this would make some girl out there a real special glove! It's a very cool glove, it's never caught one ball before, no mallet work, no hand forming, and no conditioner or chemicals what so ever!
The only thing is it has "BLEM" stamped on the outside of the pinky, but it can't be because of a flaw cause I can find one! The MB outlet manager said all the Spring Training gloves came in stamped that way, he said he thought it was to keep flippers at bay? I have no idea if that's the reason or not, that's what he said.
*Black Japanese tanned leather.
*H-web.
*Has black rough split welting.
*Black shearling.
*12.25" Pro1000 pattern.
*Asking $250.00 firm, if it doesn't sell in a couple of days I'll keep it and stick to the original plan. I know eBay's everything is inflated but there's a used Pro1000-6JB, NOT a 6JBPRO listed right now for $325.00. My price is actually below a retail HOH, this is a pretty special discontinued model that's NOT a retail glove! The inside of this glove feels equally awesome in the traditional grip or two in the pinky. I say someone better jump on this before I come to my senses!
