Demarini CF6 or CF8?

Hey guys,

I've heard a lot about how good the old Demarini CF6 and CF8's were. My question is, which had a better reputation for being a "hotter" bat?

I've never seen a CF6 in action. Was the -10 (red) or -11 (teal) the more popular?

The CF8 i've seen in action and the -11 definitely seemed like the better bat (more pop), over the -10.

My daughters favorite bat for the bast couple seasons has been the CF9 -11 and has had great results. She loves it and isn't really interested in swinging anything else. I bought her the new Q-Pro -10 from Core, but it's been more of a MEH, experience so far.

She's on the border between the -10 and -11 right now and want to pick her up a used CF6 or CF8 for a cage / practice bat.

Anybody with experience with either of these bats out there with some feedback?

I know my DD could hit the CF6 a long way. She never tried the CF8, but the CF6 is a great bat.

Cf8 is a hot bat, I would highly recommend one if you can find it

Was she swinging the red -10 or teal -11?

DD had red 32/22.

She has not used it, not a fan of more then drop 10, but I have heard good things about -11 too.

teal -11. It just jumps off the bat.

MY DD has CF5 CF6 and CF8 in her bag 31-20 consistently hits the CF5 better but all three are good bats. IMO in order of pop I would say most pop is the CF5 and least is the CF8 with the 6 in the middle. I have taken exit speed off the T with many different bats and the 5 is always a couple MPH higher........ I sold her LXT and she continues to try the new stuff but likes the older ones. The Ghost is next for us to try.

CF8 -11 was the hottest my DD ever had.. mixed reviews out there about the CFX. However a girl on my DD's team has a CFX 33/23, the ball rockets off that bat.
