I was going to post the same thing as panthadad2 earlier today, but made myself stop. Since he went ahead, I can't help myself. The graph baffles and fascinates me. Apart from the reversed axis labels and the implausible chart for "Bat B," if the graph is plotting exit velocity against distance, doesn't that take the bat right out of the test? The graph doesn't even purport to compare impact velocity to exit velocity where the bat might play a role. If it is merely telling us that a higher exit velocity means greater distance, then that doesn't say very much about the bat. I'm no math/science whiz, but I keep staring at it wondering if a bat or ball speed vs. exit velocity chart wouldn't be more illuminating. I suppose I'm intended to assume that the pitch and the swing were controlled and identical during the testing, but I'd like some statement to that effect. I'm overthinking it, but I don't seem to have a choice right now.

Dude, it’s got the 3Fusion endcap. They paired it with a gosh danged 3Fusion handle too. True story. BatExpert probably has more on this.

If they can match the pop of the Ghost without the durability issues, count me in.

For anyone wanting to try and convince me the ghost is just as durable as any other bat...save your breath as we’ll just have to agree to disagree. The number of broken Ghost bats at the local 12u level anyway is simply astonishing honestly. They are hot. They are not even close to durable. In fairness to Easton, I’m aware of at least one girl who had her bat warrantied three times.

ShawnC...all about the bucks sir. They got the initial boom of sales from the Zen and now try a new release bat for another sales spurt...smart business.
Not for the customer, but for them it is.

My problem is, how many people went on forums (even hidden dealers/Wilson employees) to try and rip Easton apart for having an ASA only bat. How it
was a money grab by Easton and this type bat isn't needed...blah blah blah. Oh, but now its ok
because Demarini did it...haha. Now they get a pass. The same people that talked about Easton, should be doing the same about Wilson.

Im ok with it, like I have said before, I play a ton of sp so we have had individual bats for years and know the advantages.

Funny thing I read though somewhere else. Lady said this is the reason she will only buy LS bats...that she will boycott Demar and Easton because of their greed :)

Ummmmmm...haha

I think we read the same comment. I'm kinda shocked more people don't know that they are owned by the same company. You'd think it's super obvious when the website has a tab for BOTH brands (and then some). And I think it's safe to say that if this bat sells well, the LS brand is going to do the exact same thing.

I said it with the Ghost...said it will be a hit and wont be the last to go with the ASA only bat. I have absolutely no doubt Wilson will atleast look into doing
it with LS as well depending on how this works profit wise

LOL at how meaningless that graph is. Wrong label axes aside, if they controlled for all variables not bat related (launch angle, environmental factors, etc) those graphs should collapse onto each other. R&D guys must be OU engineering grads.
