Well, a lot of stores don't carry top line baseball bats for the price reason in general. I will give you one example, when Louisville first came out with the Attack bbcor
baseball bat...retail was 449. My cost was 252 on them. I was busting my butt to sell them for 100 bucks the next year because they never moved from my shelf. Luckily
I only had 4, sold one when they came in so didn't lose on that one. But that's a nice 170 (add shipping) loss on each one just to get rid of them.

After that, we stopped carrying baseball. Until my partner had "friends" that wanted 2 Mako Beasts ...yeah guess what...never answered texts and never came for the bats.
So we lost about the same on each of them.

Also, a lot of baseball orgs, same as softball orgs have "friends" of the org that treat them "well" so they just go thru them. Until they find out the truth.
