Did you have a big uptick in business with the new LL rules? Was the ghost recall a pain or did it go OK?

I don't sell much baseball stuff to be honest. My problem is, good baseball bats are VERY pricey, which means if they don't sell, they end up
costing me a lot. And I don't make enough profit to recoop the losses I have taken on baseball bats. I also have seen, more baseball
customers have no problem just going to big box stores and filling their pockets. So getting the business is tough.

So I guess the good part is, I didn't have to deal with the recall...haha

Interesting comments Core.

I have noticed baseball players and their parents approach the game of baseball completely different than softball players and parents approach softball.

I picked up a 30" -10 USA Ghost X for my son. Cost me $330 OTD. Found out about the recall during TOC. Called Easton they sent me a shipping label. When they get the bat they will send a $500 credit to spend at Easton.

Wood bats seem to have the same pop as the USA GhostX in my son's hands.

I do have one problem... how do I spend $500 at Easton? Im thinking of getting one of their small batch gloves.

ian, good luck, depending on what model and what size you want, you have to get in line! Possibly email Glove Cowboy and see what’s up for the next run? Eric is doing some incredible things at Easton, I’m not extremely well versed on the small batch program but everything I’ve read from the guys who have got their hands on one, they’re awesome, like the earlier SLCS Horween Rawlings that Bob used to build in the old days!

Hey Todd, since this is actually a thread about you, ian actually brings up something you should look into! Not too long ago we were talking about a custom Rawlings for you, in the Easton Small Batch No. 6, the model 939 sounds like it would fit the bill great for your needs......pitching!

I’m pretty sure all of these are already gone, maybe you know someone at Easton who could point you in the right direction to get one. I’ve seen a couple pics of these on another forum, they’re seriously BA, HORWEEN BABY!!

Edit: the model 939 is a 13”
