So out of that bat, Vendetta, LS X12, or Easton Hyperlite, think one may outperform the others?

I've seen some girls at tournaments the last two weekends using the Vendetta and they were hitting the ball really well. Average sized girls hitting the ball hard. 8u btw. My dd had a Silhouette for a while and it had pretty good pop when she squared one up but the barrel was tiny. Again I'm talking about 8u. I also saw several CF Zens and don't remember any of the girls swinging them doing much. Don't know if it was that the bat was not much or if the girls swinging them weren't great hitters, they just didn't stand out.

My daughter has a cf zen, she loves it.

My claire is 6, is 49 inches tall and 50lbs. She swings a 28/17 drop 11 cf6 hand me down from her sister with no problem in 8u. Biggest problem I see in 8u is bats that are too long because kids can handle them in coach pitch. The demarini is a great bat for small players it swings much lighter due to its balance.

Also take into the price factor folks...drop11 top line bats are very pricey to "hope" she can swing it. Never buy until you are sure she could handle it.

With the zen at -11, my fear is that it would be too heavy. My dd is pretty tiny.

I'm in the same boat and my dd will be 9 in a month. She is just now getting really comfortable swinging a 28/17 Demarini. I had switched recently to an LXT of the same weight but it felt end loaded in that size and she never got comfortable with it. She hit better last year with a 28/15 Combat Maxuum than she does now but it broke and they are impossible to find. Having gone through a bunch of bats with a tiny dd, I would definitely err on the lighter side even if they aren't the best bat on the market. Like someone else posted on another thread about this, at her size she probably can't take advantage of what the high end bat offers anyway.
