DD currently swings the 2018 LXT 34 -10. TB coach has stacks of random bats on a shelf in his warehouse which are mostly LS bats. A few months ago I grabbed a brand new 2014 LXT 34 -9 and told her to hit with it to get her stronger as it is an oz heavier. Coach says keep it and see if she likes it. As far as I know she has been using it from time to time during batting practice.
Last weekend in her first game of the day she steps into the box with this bat, and of course I am beside myself saying what is she doing?! She not ready for that bat! Well she hits a towering shot that clears the right center fence. WHAT!!! Did that just happen? Her next at bat I am thinking to myself, please don't swing for the fence, please, please, please. First pitch. Pow! A no doubter over the Left Center fence! Yes, that happened. Back to back pitches. She always loved her 2014 32", but she out grew it. That bat is so sweet and so smooth. Let's see how the bat performs the rest of the season.
