It will not hit as well as the ASA Ghost. First of all, it cant...secondly, it takes a little more time to heat up.

If you go into it thinking this, you have the wrong mindset. If you go into it looking for a bat that hits with all the other
bats, you will be fine. Again, give it a little while.

Also, you have a Ghost that is .5 or more heavier than the QPro you have. The Ghost has more behind it that the QPro you bought.
If Rawlings made a weird 31/22 drop 9, I bet it would do better for you.

My DD's go to bat is her DM CF8 slapper. It is very hand loaded and it is a 31/21 weighing 20.7oz. She hits the best with it, both power and base hits. I got her an early release USSSA Ghost 32/22 weighing 22.8oz. Swings great in batting practice, not so much against 65 mph pitchers. The ghost weighing way over sticker combined with the weight further down the bat has made the change more difficult to adapt to. i went searching for something in between (QPro). But even with the weight dead accurate 31/21 weighing 21oz, the bat is just dead. Maybe it will open up, but she has used it a lot for three weeks, and it still seems dead. I am returning it through Rawlings performance guarantee and will be ordering a different weight USSSA Ghost and an ASA version as well. Just got to sell the USSSA 32/22 Ghost first..

Just got my daughter a Qpro 30/20 the bat really needs to be broken in. Right out of the wrapper you can feel tapping it with your hand that it is tight. My DD is small so I got her that instead of ghost due to weight and QP has a more balanced feel. The more BP she does with the bat you can tell the ball is coming off harder and is sounding better. I also try and use the bat to help break in by hitting pops ups and fungos with it during practice. Give the QP a chance because it requires a some break in.

22.8 isn't way over sticker...just saying. Most bats are between .5 and an ounce over. I don't like it, but I cant do anything about it.
Only bats that are very close are the CFs and Qpro. And I heard the CFX isn't that close anymore but that's only from somebody who had one, not
from my own weighing so I don't know it for a fact.

Im not trying to sway what you do you either way, just saying the QPro does open up. Maybe you got a bad one, don't know that either.

I would love to give it a little longer, but I am getting close to the 30 day mark. I just can't afford to eat another bat that she doesn't use. I have another week and we will keep trying.

Don't blame you, don't forget baseball and softball is mental. A player has to feel good about her equipment.

Ok I’m early in my 30 days. Only one lesson, one practice and a game. Just seems dead. I’ll give it a little longer. I’ll be interested to see if it actually does open up

Yeah my kid demoed it and she said it felt hard. She said it feels more “centered” weight wise but didn’t feel any give in it when she hit a few balls off.

Is yours “broken” in already? How many hits would you say it took? I really want to pull the trigger but I know she won’t swing it unless she “feels” it.

My kid’s Qpro stayed in the bag this weekend. She hasn’t given up on it, said she will use it in practice and her lesson this week to try and warm it up. I am just watching the clock on the 30 days.
