New bat

8 year old DD (4'9", 65 lbs) currently swings an Easton 2015 FP15S111 FS1 CXN ZERO -11. Bought the bat about a year ago and while it is still fine I want to get her new one so that she can have two bats in her bag which she can use. Right now she has an aluminum in there but the only time that is used is when I hit her fungoes. We hit a decent amount, 2 to 3 times a week with me and once a week with TB team add that to the amount of games she is playing along with the age of the bat I am afraid her bat is going to go dead in the middle of a tournament with no viable backup. Any suggestions for a similar bat in the $150-250 range? At this age she doesn't care whether the bat is 2018 or 1999 so that isn't an issue. I think she can stick with the 31 drop 11 for another year or so, or until her body weighs more than my right leg, although a drop 10 might be ok I guess.

Used CF6,8 or 9 in 29/18.

A drop 11 LXT also.

I think a 31 is likely too big. Although probably ok with 8u coach pitch, when she moves up to kid pitch in 10u I would think a 29 or 30 would be more appropriate. As they get bigger (likely 12u), I would start transitioning to a -10.

Thank you. She has been using a 31 drop 11 for almost a year now and has been playing 10U since the Fall. She has some issues but I don't think it is the bat that is the problem I'll have a look at the CFs and LXTs.

I bought my dd an Lxt 28/17 and it feels end loaded because the barrel is small but a girl on our team has the same bat in 31 /20 and it has a really nice sized barrel and feels more balanced. She’s killing it with that bat too.

I stand corrected, she is actually swinging a 30/19. Good thing I checked

Might want to check with coresoftball20 on a QPro. I believe he's selling them around your price range and the bat itself is HOT!!

I have a 31/20 and 28/17 Marucci FX Connect I will deal pretty darn cheap for a 349 bat
