My DD had one for a while and it was a good, entry-level composite bat at an amazing price (we paid $60 two years ago I think.) I was bummed when they stopped making them. It broke after about 8 months (someone more knowledgeable than i will correct me, but I think it has some kind of fiberglass inside) but gave her solid pop when it was still new.

Liked the one we had. Playing rec ball last year and Dixie didn't approve Combat for fastpitch. They sent the approved list out two weeks before the World Series and we scrambled to buy a new bat.

You may like one piece bats (as do I), but not many others do...which is a big reason Combat is no longer. They just never moved on, kept trying to
make the one piece and their latter 2 pieces just didn't cut it for people. Combats are tanks and if you give them time, they do hit well. There are some
very hidden gems in the Combat lineup for sp and fp if you can find them. I actually like this bat for the price as well

This is the bat my kid is currently swinging. Once she got used to it (we moved up in length and weight), she's been hitting great balls. Even her popups go pretty freaking high. But she also has like 4-5k hits on it. So if you get it, make sure your kid uses it for everything. It's holding up pretty well. She's not planning on a new bat anytime soon and has stopped pestering me to get her a xeno (xeno was her previous bat). Now I'm the one pestering her to just try a ghost.

She did complain at the beginning about her hands. But her hitting coach said it was because she wasn't squaring up the ball. She said the vibration is worse on this bat than the xeno. I think it's cause it's a one piece. But she hasn't complained about vibration since she figured it all out. I think that was more due to her needing to get used to the length of it. The last time she complained is cause it was cold outside and their hands were "frozen" according to her lol.
