This is kind of an odd question but do they still make softball gloves that have longer finger stalls? What I am seeing now seems to be smaller gloves (although correct size) due to a deeper pocket. I am coming from an old TPS 12.5 glove that doesn't have the deeper pocket. I hope this makes sense.

Is the glove for a male or female? What position? What age? What size hand?

Sounds like you're looking for something in the 12.5" to 12.75" range with mid-finger lacing, which mid-finger lacing helps keep the fingers straight and not form that bowl shape that infielders like/want. That's about all the info I can give you until I find out the answers to the questions above.

A Vinci RV1961-L from Drakemir here immediately comes to mind, fits the bill for everything you listed above, I'm 99.368% sure the RV1961 comes with mid-finger lace, I've got a used one coming but haven't received it yet.

Are there any options that you would recommend other than Vinci?

Sure, suggested the RV1961 because of the way Vinci does their dual welting, it creates very snug hand and finger stalls for the female hand. Any particular glove brand you like? Is she opposed to a really stiff glove that requires some serious break in time?

And if you don't mind, why not a Vinci? I thought I was the only one allowed here to say something negative (lace*lace*lace) about a Vinci:rolleyes:, and I own 5 of them with another inbound.

The RV1961-L does have mid-finger lace, and it's an excellent outfielders glove.

The Rawlings GXLE3029 is a very similar pattern to the RV1961-L, but not up to the quality of the Vinci.
