So there is a girl on our team that broke her new 2018 Louisville slugger Xeon and she was very upset knowing how much her parents paid for the bat. So I told her dad no big deal to email Louisville with pictures and ask to send bat back in exchange for a new one. Now this is when the B.S. started, they asked where he bought the bat from and the receipt for it. This is complete B.S. there is a serial number on the bat for a reason that gives them when the bat was made and when it was produced on the production line. He sent them all the pic. of when he bought the bat from unboxing the bat, to unwrapping it to prove it was new when purchased. So they said could not warranty a replacement because it was not from an authorized dealer which is B.S. It doesn't matter where you buy a bat from warranty is warranty they know they made the bat, it is a B.S. way to get out of sending them a new one and should be ashamed of what these company's are doing to people and the public does nothing about it. Tayormade changed their warranty program years ago to deal with online shopping, they know that is their product and want people to buy their product. They don't care where you buy their products from and will stand by their warranty no matter what. I can buy a used car from anybody and if it has warranty left on it the car company's don't care, it is fully transferable. They don't say oh you didn't buy it at our dealership so you have no warranty.

THE CONSUMER NEEDS TO STAND UP TO THESE BAT COMPANYS AND SAY WARRANTY IS WARRANTY. Stand behind your product don't try to look for ways to screw consumers around.

LS is owned by Wilson (Parent, Amer Sports). They have proven themselves time and time again to not have their customer's best interest at heart. So your experience doesn't surprise me. I have made a personal commitment to never do business with them again.

FYI.... if you buy your bats from Todd at CORESOFTBALL20.... these problems won't happen.
Sorry for the hassle you're experiencing with them...this is why I stick with Todd. As a bonus his prices are better too!

Are there individual serial numbers on bats?

Ok, I will voice my opinion here as most prob knew I would...hahaha.

Warranty policies are written on every manufacturers site....plain and simple. You MUST buy from an authorized dealer. I don't feel sorry for any
customer going thru ebay to get the cheapest price they can, but yet, want all the benefits that the authorized dealer provides to you. One of which,
is warranty. Warranty is void if you buy from a non authorized dealer!!! There, you saved a few dollars to go cheap from Joe Schmoe on ebay or
some dbag "rep" who is just some salesmen for somebody and has no skin in the business. That's buyers fault. People have fell in love with ebay a little too much to
be honest. Btw, ebay is full of frauds trying to pass themselves off as authorized dealers to get you to buy a bat. Another hint, if there is a new bat advertised for
less than map, they aren't real dealers.

Also, if you bought from a auth dealer, then you should be able to call and see if they can help with a receipt. Yes, its a pain in the azz for us, but I will
still help. If a store doesn't, that's their policy or if they want to charge you for getting you a copy...again, their policy. PS...KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS FOR WARRANTY!!!!!

Next, serial numbers. These are not there to just say when the bat rolled off the line. They are there so that certain manufacturers can tell what bats
went to what store...and I know Wilson tracks serials to the stores. That way, they can make sure the receipt isn't fake or that you bought from a
non-authorized store. If the receipt doesn't have the store name that they shipped to...then your SOL.

Next, blame the scammers as well. There has been so much fraud with fake receipts for bats, that this had to happen. Again, how many forums/ebay
have you seen aholes selling receipts for people that broke bats and they need receipts to get a free bats. Bats that they bought used from their buddy
5 years ago or whatever, but now they want to scam and get a free bat. Or some new bat they bought from their buddy 5 years ago for 100 bucks and
they think they deserve a free bat 5 years down the road. Also the reason customers are now paying the prices they do for bats.

And a big mistake...its a WILSON PRODUCT ;)

j/k...had to throw that last part in there. But sorry if I am strict on this stuff. Reps and 3rd party people have caused a lot of issues to real stores. I have no
sympathy if people buy from other sources.

I understand your frustration, and you make a valid point. However, the reality is that the bat industry operates differently.
