I fully understand it’s the Indian and not the arrow so not looking for the preverbial magic bullet here. Just been doing some thinking and wanted to get some others opinions on a couple of options for lesser known/popular bats. Can someone that has handled both the Freak Black and the Quattro give me your thoughts on how they compare? Daughter had a 31/21 MFB and really liked it. It ended up breaking well after warranty period and was time to move up any ways in size. Has been swinging LXT and no complaints but I have a NIW 32/22 and also 33/23 MFB in the basement as I stocked up when they discontinued them. Trying to decide if I should break one out or sell and buy a Quattro or QPro. She also has a Xeno in her bag that I picked up this winter so haven’t had the chance yet for game use on it. Common sense would be to run with the lxt and xeno and sell the MFB’s but as we all know common sense and softball addict is an oxymoron. Of course if I sold them would probably just add a Ghost to the stable to try it out.

From what I understand the MFB / 2Legit / Quattro / are same bat/different paint. Core probably has some good info on that. That being said, DD loved the MFB but never took to the Quattro. Seemed to have different sound to them, but other than that both were good IMO. If you want to sell the 33/23 MFB please let me know.

picked up a Freak Black that one girl is playing with a little, mostly as a practice bat right now

One of our girls has a 2018 Quatro

both 32/22

the girl with the Quatro did not like the Freak Black, said it swung heavy.....FWIW she loves the Quatro, and is hitting well with it so far

take that with a grain of salt, but that's her view

That's kinda funny...the MFB is one of the most balanced bats ever made and the Quatro is overweight.

The MFB/2Legit/Quatro are not the same bat...they stemmed from the same company. Miken had the MFB and Worth used some of their tech
to bring out the 2Legit. Well, Miken got out of fastpitch and let Worth take it all. Then, Worth got out of fastpitch and gave their tech to Rawlings
for the Quatro. The MFB is not the 2Legit, as there were differences. But the late 2Legits are close to the first Quatro. Then Rawlings ran with their bat
to improve.
Now the QPro will be totally different

Looks like the Quatro Pro will be using a double barrel type technology. The cutaway photo on the Rawlings site show the inner barrel as well as a band or ring in the are of the sweet spot.

My DD swung a 32" MFB, and loved it. When she moved to 33", she had a MFB and a CF8. Her preference was the CF8. Recently, she got a 33" Ghost. The MFB has become her cage bat, and the CF8 rarely sees the light of day. The Ghost rules them all.

The MFB was a sleeper that nobody knew about

And when Miken was blowing them out...people started to notice...haha.

yeah, she's a 13 year old with limited bat experience lol......but she did not like the MFB all that much at all, and loved the Quatro......I haven't swung either, just telling you what she said lol

when 13 year old girls start making sense, we might all be out of business ;)

another girl has grabbed the MFB as her practice bat and is starting to like it
