Default size of high school girls fastpitch softball catcher's mitt

My granddaughter has been asked to catch on her high school fastpitch team. She is a 9th grader 5'1" & 150 lbs. Never caught before & used her outfield glove to catch for the first several games, but this isn't working out. What size and price range of catcher's mitts should I look for her?

    What is not working out?

Is her hand hurting or not catching/stopping the ball?

Good for her jumping into maybe the hardest position.

I've seen mostly 33" or 34" for high school level catchers. I can't say enough good things about the All-Star CMW3000 (https://amzn.to/2FT6ZrK) that my daughter uses.
