What do you think of a glove like that? Is that a 13"?

I did mock one up very close. It was all Carolina with Navy web/laces. And I like having the index finger pad outside and little stuff like that

Sorry, you ask me what I thought of a glove like this.....I think for you being a pitcher, this model offers you great protection, being a custom, and this glove with the colors you want will be made from Japanese tanned leather, but the customs do come with thicker leather than retail models. I'm 52, don't play SP anymore, stopped playing at 46, for 26 years I played SS for every team I ever played for, and for 20 years that was probably 5 days a week. In that span I probably pitched 20/30 games? You being a pitcher know this, there's times where just getting the back of a glove up to block a ball, or knocking it down to protect yourself is D*** important, I think the "JD" pattern gives you enough glove mass to do that.

Now I will say I never had one of these in my hands before, so length wise I don't know what they tape out at, hopefully a full 13"? I like the pattern, but with the colors and the web you chose, that's where we differ:cool:, but hey, that's what makes the world go around! Even thought I obviously have better taste:rolleyes:, it'd be a boring world if everyone liked exactly what I liked!

I moved in as age went up, and as nobody wanted to pitch and take the punishment...haha. Went from outfield, to ss, to 3rd and then went to
pitch when nobody wanted to.

Where do you see the JD pattern thing in the builder?

Just got this in an email from Wilson. It sure looks plain compared to your Rawlings creation!

It’s kind of cool that they send an email and there is a link to track the gloves production, builds a little excitement for the extra bucks, lol!

On the menus in the upper right corner, click baseball first, then HOH leather and so on till you get to patterns, when you click on patterns it'll list all the sizes, 13" is close to the bottom. And DON'T click on positions, leave it blank cause it cuts out a lot of patterns when you choose positions!

That was the kicker there...see, the ocd kicked in...thought I had to fill everything out :)

Only reason I am doing this WW, is because it looks cool and can get a lot of color...haha. If I couldn't get much diff, I wouldn't order
in my case. I would also like to show people what the possibilities are...I don't think many people even know they can build a Rawlings
like this. I think people seeing a glove that pops like this, may make them ask questions :)

I know a lot of local peeps may want cool looking gloves for decent prices
