You know how it is if your daughter just got to 14u and doesn't have metal cleats. Its not cool lol. I'm going to pull the trigger and get her a new pair . Im thinking of going straight to Ringor but they're expensive. I don't mind paying if they will last. How true are they to size? DD wears an women's 8 1/2 now but will probably still grow some. Any take on other brands is also welcome.

They will last, question is will your DD's feet stop growing?

Last I heard they size a little small so order a 1/2 size larger. You can exchange them if they do not fit.

Ringors all the way. They outlasted anything out there for my DD who was first a pitcher and at 14 transitioned into a catcher. New Balance are what my DD's college team use and she likes those also.

Ringors are worth every penny. DD’s red Dynasty 2.0’s lasted 2.5 years as a catcher, and since we made it clear that she should stay off the concrete as much as possible the insoles wore out before the spikes. She still has them, they still fit, good as a backup but she wanted white ones for Christmas, so...

New Balance are "way lighter" and "more comfortable" according to our squad. We've been a Ringor fam for 5 years until last year. Molded, metal, and turfs. Made the switch to NB and it was darn near life changing. Won't go back.

Plus NB are way more stylish.

My DD also switched from Ringors to the New Balance. And for the same reasons...way lighter and more comfortable. You can actually feel a big difference in weight just by picking them up by hand.

That is the only criticism I have heard about Rigors, they are built to last but are a little bit heavy compared to other brands.

Ringors are slightly heavier than most, but they will outlast anything else you buy.

My daughter likes the look of the New Balance, but they are narrow. She couldn't find anything that felt right when we saw them at a showcase.

Our team uses Mizunos, which seem to last pretty well and are quite a bit lighter than the Ringors. The spikes are pretty well shot after a season, though. Seemed like the Ringor spikes lasted longer.
