My limited experience with the folding tees is they dont last long at all - I had one similar to that from champro that got destroyed in a few weeks. I just use a Tanner T now and break down the base for transport.

Same here. After I break it down I actually pack it in the same bag as my Bow Net.

It seems durable enough and considering the HS uses them a ton, I'm guessing it would hold up well for our use.

That reminds me--gotta order a new bag for the net. Thanks!

Just realized I missed Drakemir's post. FP26 the Tanner base does ok in the net bag?

If I go with a Tanner, is it better to get one of the short models and use a bucket for hi-tee work?

Ken get the regular height one for 99% of your tee work imho. If you want, you can order just the short stem separate and just use that one for low tee. But you might as well get the whole tee, sooner or later you will want the second base.

OR, get a short one and use a 12” threaded pipe and a coupler that you can get at any hardware store in the plumbing section to raise it up to regular height.

Last: Jugs makes a pretty nice looking tanner style tee and I like the base of it a lot. It’s metal. They sell a combination package of two tee heights, might want to look at that.

I have no issues with the base in the bag. Just have to be careful how you pack it in. I put the base in before I put in the support arms from the net. I have seen some knock off tees that look a lot like the tanner that i have, but have a larger base. The cages we go to have a few sitting around. They work nicely as well, but would not fit in the bag.

I used a Bownet folding tee for a while. The structure was good, but the ball holder part lacked durability. The design just doesn't stand up to repeated impacts on slight mishits. I have since moved to a Tanner.
