I'd make sure your tournament schedule is very heavily ASA sanctioned... otherwise the GHOST is a waste of big money.... illegal bat for all sanctions except International, NCAA, and ASA

Will look at 33/23 too but daughter

Also a Ghost but price may be too much.

Thanks

Unfortunately, Wilson has gotten rid of their smaller, more knowledgeable bat dealers over the past year in order to cater to the larger websites and big box stores so they can collect full price on those as well as Demarini bats which they also own, You might be able to find last year's model or maybe even 2 year old models but I doubt it. Used would be more possible IMO if the sellers DD has outgrown it. The LXT still remains a very desirable bat because it remains hot and hits well which, in turn, means even used, the prices remain high since the demand is still there.

As far as the Ghost goes, if you're planning on playing both USSSA and ASA/USA tournaments, this isn't the bat for you since each one is sanctioned differently depending upon their testing procedure. In other words, a Ghost that is ASA/USA sanctioned shouldn't be able to be used in USSSA tournaments even though I've heard cases where they have been allowed until the USSSA model has been marketed and introduced to the public. I'm thinking that this will quickly be cleared up by the USSSA umpires asking to see the thumbprint stamp. This also means that if you're playing a combination of both USSSA and ASA/USA tournaments, you'll have to purchase two Ghosts in order for your DD to have the continuity of swinging the same feeling bat.

For the most part, if you're not playing any USSSA tournaments, then I would highly recommend the Ghost. Most other sanctions such as NSA, AFA, AFSEA, SEAA, etc. etc. follow ASA/USA bat guidelines since they have few testing procedures in place and prefer to have someone else spend the big money to do so.

ETA: If you do decide on a Ghost, I would suggest PMing or texting coresoftball20. His price and service are unbeatable! You'll find his number on the signature line of his posts if you want to text.
