Is this the drop 10 specifically or all CFX? Daughter loves her insane even got rid of the ghost as it wasn't as hot as her insane to her.
See post #8 on the previous page. Once again, her insane is old tech. It has thicker walls and will continue to get hotter as the carbon fibers flex more, weaken and give more trampoline effect outside the specs of current ASA/USA bat standards or until it fails (cracked bat). If it's out performing the Ghost, then I wouldn't use that bat in any tournament that has mandatory bat testing because, more than likely, it will exceed the ball exit speed mandates currently employed by the sanctioning body and will be confiscated until the tourney is over.
Ok thanks for the info. Yea she wouldn't be happy if they took her cfx. She also has the cf8 insane as a back up that's not as hot. The CFX did have more hits on it then the ghost. We gave it a few weeks with on field BP but never took to it.
These were all -11. DD loved CF8. hated CF9. she said it had no pop and would agree with her by the eye test. Loves CFX
As I keep saying, it's all about the player, the bat they swing well and have confidence in. For most, the CFX and PXT aren't the ones for them and again, most people are trying to dump them ASAP. For others, this is THE bat. There's nothing wrong with that.
Going through this right now with our Ghost. The performance just isn't what we were hoping for. With that being said she has used a teammates before at an individual showcase and had no problem getting good distance out of her hits. We may have just gotten some duds compared to others
. I will say I do not know if the quality of balls make a big difference or not (new vs used) but the one at the showcase seemed to be a bit hotter than the one we picked up. Just like anything else being mass produced one will usually out perform the other. If you take two identical cars off of the lot and race them one will be more efficient than the other. IMO ANY ghost will not out perform ANY other equivalent bat in real life, only in theory.

This is true. I own one of the very few unimpressive CF6 Sprites.
What about a 31/21 CF6? I let someone borrow it a good while back, need to get it back, it was a firecracker!
