My DD got to watch a D1 central Florida pircher have a lesson and her catcher for the lesson said his college baseball team has one. He said the reading times of each pitch takes a long time and is not instantaneous as it they show in promos. Says it takes on average a good 30 seconds to a minute to compute. He also said frequent issues with locking up.Spoke with Rick about this on Monday... The reports back from Rick after he was instrumental in its development, is very poor reports. The development team there used him, took all his feed back, then didn't hold up their end of the deal by giving him a few models. Others have reported back that on its very best day, its ability to read axis is about 20% true. The numbers are way off 80% of the time... For $3000, I'd expect more.
The new revfire is supposed to read axis too.... reports are saying it'll be available next month... not holding my breath on that until I see it.
