I bought one for my DD in August from Core. She uses it for hitting lessons, warm ups, practice, and games. It has held up great. I really like Easton my DD also has a Mako she enjoys using.

Maddie had her first games with the Ghost this weekend. She went 4-for-7 with a monster double, and single, a triple, and a grand slam (cycle!). Not too bad. A couple of her teammates used it, too. Core will be sending me 2 more Ghosts this week :)

Okay...so the Ghost didn't turn a mediocre hitter into a monster overnight. My kid can hit. I didn't see a staggering difference between the Ghost and the CF8 that Maddie has been swinging for the past year. It's certainly not worse. Maddie likes the way it feels, and that's good enough for me.

At DD's hitting clinic tonight her coach said she thought her bat was dead. It did sound "thunky" and balls were coming off it a bit flat. I was hoping to get a 3rd season out of it, but realistically it's already 2yrs old and probably has close to 200 games on it, plus BP & lessons. I asked the coach (D1) what her team uses and she said they're all using the Ghost and it's very hot, and the girls love it. My DD has been using demarini since her first Bustos at 10U, so this may be a tough sell. Her coach is going to bring a demo next week for her to try out.

I sat and watched 40 girls hit in a clinic last weekend. There were probably 6-8 Ghosts in the mix. It was amazing to me how many small girls with irregular/imperfect swings were absolutely CRUSHING the ball with the Ghost. Never mind the one stud 2022 kid who was hitting like a college player with it. Maybe it's time to consider a switch.
