Looking for glove recommendations for my daughter that just turned 14. Pitching is her primary position for both teams. Secondary is usually middle infield for Middle School and middle infield/center field for travel ball.

I realize that the 'best' glove will vary with each of these positions, but with the emphasis on pitching let me know what you recommend. She's currently using a relatively inexpensive Mizuno and it's definitely time for an upgrade. We don't have a firm budget in mind, but under $250 would be a good starting point.

Also, need to know the best place to buy and thoughts on glove size. She's average size for her age, around 5'5" and 125 pounds.

A little pricey, but it'll be the last glove you buy her....ever

Look up the user names Drakemir or Casedawg... Both are awesome Vinci reps who can get you fixed up

Case no longer sells online - except to previous customers if you track him down :)

For that age I would jump up to the bv1929-l - Kip leather, 12.25" basket web , GREAT hand protection and is the best utility glove on the market. For the small price difference, you're getting better quality leather.

If you would like a quote on one - send me a message.

THIS!!! and I won’t be the last one on here to second the BV1929-L. Great glove! DD uses it for SS and 3B when not catching and a couple stents in the outfield. I can think of a half dozen high level pitchers who have this glove in my area. I have yet to hear any bad feedback at all.

Another shout out for the Vinci BV1929-L (order from Drakemir) as the best option for what you've described. One of my DD's pitches, plays MI and OF as well and loves this glove. I'm getting ready to order another for her twin sister who is primarily a Catcher but gets quite a bit of time at 3rd and does occasional duty in the OF as well. The 1929 is a great glove at a great price.

You cannot go wrong with a Vinci BV1929-L and with a little TLC it may be the last glove you buy her.
