I need to replace the grip on my daughter's 2016 LXT. I want to get a grip that is most similar to stock. I know a lot of people love lizard skins but they come in three sizes. I was thinking the 1.1 would be like stock but the website says the 1.8mm is made to industry standards. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? I am not married to Lizard Skins ether. Just whatever will be most like the LXT original grip.

All DD's are the Lizard Skin 1.1, though it seemed liked her original LXT grips felt more like a 1.8. I guess it depends on preference but DD said she likes the feel of the 1.1

Just yesterday I put a 1.1mm Lizard Skin on an older (2016) Xeno, it was definitely thinner at the top of the grip than the stock oem grip. Not sure but I'm thinking the 1.8mm may be closer to original? Those Lizard Skins feel awesome when brand new.....almost too grippy!

Right Here For Now
Although I agree with core being a 1.8, I have installed hundreds of Lizard skins on my players bats over the past years including everything from Rocketechs, to Makos, to LXTs, to Xenos, to Whiteout2 extremes, to....well you get the picture. I have yet to have a player be happy with the 1.8 even though they asked for the feel/thickness of the original grip. They invariably come back and ask me to make it "smaller." I've yet to hear one player say, "It's too small!" when I've gone with the 1.1.

Another vote for 1.1’s from my dd’s. We also like the dual color, makes it really easy to pick bat out of the dugout.
