Does anyone out there have any experience with this glove? I can't find a single review on this particular glove, and on similar models all I can find are a few Amazon reviews. How can you trust an Amazon review when people deduct stars for the glove being too hard to break in?

It's full grain steer hide, looks like a basic 12" pattern, and the price I've found for a new one is around $70. My 9 year old DD usually plays catcher, and I'm just looking for a new fielders glove to replace her old one. When not catching, she'll play just about anywhere but F3.

For 70$ that would be a great deal - just looking I dont see it anywhere for less than 20 off of retail. I have handled their catchers mitts which seem to be decent gloves

I agree with Drakemir, looks pretty hard to beat at that price for steerhide. Anna’s first “real” glove in 10U was a 11.75” LS TPX Omaha baseball glove, and I’ve got to say, it was great glove, more glove than she needed at the time!

Thanks, guys.
I was thinking that at that price I couldn't miss too badly. For the MSRP of $199, I'd personally look another direction, which is probably why I'm having a hard time finding reviews.

DD gets angry when she's not behind the plate anyway, so at least this will give her something to chew on.

I help the process along as much as I can.

DS has the American made LS Evolution which is listed as "premium steer hide," and he is the same age as DD (they're twins). He actually had it broken in fairly quickly. His glove before that was a Mizuno MVP, so it was quite a change.

Both kids have catchers mitts, so that's where we struggle with the break-in period.

DD's current glove is a used Rawlings we found that was formed incorrectly. It's one of those that boasts "full grain palm"... meaning the rest of the glove is mystery meat. I reshaped it, and it survived the season, but it replaced her entry level Rawlings. She was breaking in a new catchers mitt at the time, so a pre-owned model fit the need and she was actually excited about it's pre-break-in condition.
