Nice Gloves, my daughter loves her blue/white JCV34, but I gotta say I checked the car out as much as I did the gloves. Nice Ride!

Since I have the Vinci experts here, what OF glove do you suggest for a girl with huge hands? She wears a Large men's batting glove. She's playing mostly Catcher for her travel ball team, but with the first year of HS ball quickly approaching there's a good chance she ends up mostly in the OF with her speed and older girls entrenched at Catcher.

Clearly, this thread is really about ANNASDAD's showing off his bad@$$ car. Adorning it with gloves is a weak effort to keep it about softball.

Expert......no! Clearly Drakemir is your guy here, the question is ALWAYS exactly opposite.....needing a glove for a girl with small hands. For outfield that answer is always the RV1961-L from me.

There was an assistant coach at a local D2 school here who always had a 12.75” AB1974-L with him, he loved it! That’s one option.

Or:
A 13” BMB-L.
A 13” BMB-OB.
A 13” Optimus BM, it’s more money but that would be my choice. But I’m pretty sure these are massive gloves. Drakemir?

If she is a catcher also - I would suggest the BMB-OB or BMB-L like Annasdad said - she is already used to a larger glove catching so the transition to a true 13" wont really be that big of a deal - plus it has nice finger wells for a larger hand. Only difference in the two models the L is an all leather closed back, where the ob has a few mesh and a few all leather (depending on color) and an open back. RV1961 is an option also, but with her handling a catchers glove already I would go full gambit for the 13.

Happy to quote you a price if you send me a message - Any of these limited line gloves will last long enough for her to play with your grandkids with proper care =)

The pictures on the Vinci site are always tempting. When the kids are older, I'll have to pull the trigger on one.

Thanks for the suggestions on the OF glove. She currently uses a cheaper 13" LS Xeno so she won't want to go smaller. So I will look at the 13" options. The large hands thing definitely seems like a rare problem in the Softball world. DD is not a big girl either at 5'5" and 135 lbs at 13 years, but she wears a men's size 10 cleats and her hands are almost same size as me, and I'm 6'2" and 210. I honestly had never heard of Vinci until I started asking about Catcher's Gloves for girls with big hands here on the boards. She loves her JCV34 despite the crazy break in time, so we are sold on Vinci going forward.

Drakmir - I will get a hold of you when it's time for the new OF glove.

Also to add - the Optimus BM is the best outfield glove that Vinci makes -but at a premium price point - I tend to not recommend them to anyone who isnt going to use it as a primary glove. When I talk about the Limited Kip holding up like tanks -- the Optimus leather is in an entirely different class. Pretty sure my DD (13 yo) who has been using her custom Optimus now for 2 seasons, will still be using it to play with her grand kids 40 years down the road. Pretty sure it might still have a perfect pocket in it too..
