Anna's had a few really good things happen to her in the past couple of weeks, two really solid offers! This glove just showed up in the mail, a gift, a free glove! Before today this glove would have never been on my radar, you know, me being the absolute non-lover of velcro! Man this glove is solid as a rock! Great infield pattern! I've always wanted to try one of Vinci's mesh series gloves, I've had the ME024-M in the back of my mind forever because of the Rawlings RV23 hinged web it has on it. Just thought I'd brag for a minute:cool:

What size?

How do I go about getting a Vinci to show up as a free gift?

Eric, I promise I wish I had the answer to that question! My wife called me Saturday, we were playing at the Diamond Fall Classic in Spartanburg, SC. She said there's a package here for Anna.....it's a new Vinci glove with an unbelievably well written letter wishing her the best moving forward into college ball. Man, I was completely blown away!

It's a 12.5" that "might" measure 12". I haven't taped it yet. This glove is built like a tank! I've always wondered how stiff a Vinci mesh series glove is......It's stiffer than all 3 tan kip customs we have, I swear it's like putting your hand in a brand new Vinci catchers mitt, crazy stiff!! The pocket looks like it's going to make a great MI glove.

Ya know, if it's really stiff, it's probably broken. Everyone knows you can only dispose of broken gloves at a Certified Broken Glove Disposal Center. Luck for you, I just happen to operate such a facility. Please send the broken glove to me as soon as possible. It's for everyone's protection.

My daughter has the same glove, it's her backup now since she feels it's too big for infield work (new glove is a Rawlings Pro Preferred 11.5"). Very nicely built, for sure.

She must gave great hands Scotty! Especially seeing how most PP and HOH’s run a 1/4” shorter than their listed size. What model Pro Perferred is she using? I really like the new Vinci but in no way will it replace her 12” Pro206 HOH she’s finally got broken in.

Just catching up on posts after travel - but that's awesome! Hope she enjoys it!

DD has a custom AB74-VM that has the mesh backing- been using it for 4 years and it looks like it will last for another 20! Great leather that took quite a while to break-in. It's a 13" OF model. Off to college next fall where she will be getting a custom 44 Pro glove- hope it's as good as the Vinci!

That’s great to hear, the mesh seems to be some tough stuff. Have you ever owned a 44 Pro glove before? I’ve held one once. The reason I ask is, in that caliber/price range for a custom, the consensus at SoftballFans is the Gloveworks customs are a higher quality glove than the 44 Pro! You may want to give them a look.
