DD is 9 and has been using the Mizuno Prospect glove. It's worked for her so far, but we typically buy a new glove in fall and by the summer all-star season it's floppy and we wonder how she fields anything with it.
So my husband and I were thinking that maybe it's time to get a slightly more durable glove. We'd like to spend right around $100 if possible, and in a perfect world DD would be able to use the glove for the rest of her time in 10U (she just started this fall). She plays spring, all-stars, and fall ball, so about 9 months out of the year.
The Mizuno MVP is in our price range, but has anyone used this glove? The online reviews I've read have been positive, but the Prospect also gets glowing reviews online and DD kills hers every year.
Any thoughts?
