Sidetrack post a little bit, well a lot. :)

I never were DD's glove, I am twice her size. I am worried I will mess up the figure stalls or whatever you call them.

Is that a valid concern?

I would also like to mention that breaking in a fielders glove during bucket time is not as much fun when your DD gets older and throws gas.

After having to restring DD's 3 yr old Mizuno mitt twice over the summer in two different spots in the pocket, and complaining about finger sting/swollen it was time.

I just got DD the Wilson A2000 and it seems to be breaking in nicely. I follow the Wilson glove guru instructions. Although I got a little over zealous banging away late one night in the garage and broke a string. I guess I pinched it. Oh well, it enabled me to become more adept at restringing. BTW our team is a LS/Wilson team...so my choices were limited. She'll be shagging balls this weekend with the mitt and catching prospective pitchers at the organizational tryouts. Hopefully all goes well.

If you don't mind a few weeks (2-3 weeks on avg) wait - Vinci will factory break in the glove. I haven't received my first catcher's mitt yet but the fielding gloves have been about 50% broke in. That would be for a Kip or Steerhide glove. Could also go with a Fortus. One of my DD's AC uses one to warm up the girls (who on avg throw low to mid 50s) and he is a bigger guy, 6'4ish - has no complaints. Will break in a few weeks.

Send me a message if you want a quote.

Thanks for the quick shipping and excellent recommendation! The glove is already broken in after one pitching session!
Will be in touch soon for a new pitchers glove!
