Congratulations, sounds like she's happy with her decision on the 12" glove.....does she wear a batting glove inside her glove? If not you need to order a small container of Jobsite or Obenauf's beeswax and apply a very thin coat to the hand stall liner to seal out sweat. Sweat is THE #1 killer of ball gloves! Good old Vaseline will work in a pinch, remember, a very thin coat.

Hi Ez!

I was wondering what the weight difference is between the 2 gloves? We are looking at making the exact same decision- one lists e-lite leather and the other doesnt (?).

Thanks for the information, very useful :).

The smaller tan glove (GGE50FPV) weighs in at 24.1oz and the larger (GGE10FP) weighs in at 22.5oz.

Not that either is bad but the tan VOP leather on GGE50FPV just feels nicer to both myself and my daughter. If I were to buy again, I would purchase the tan VOP gloves in the Global Elite series.

The black (GGE10FP) is brand new and you can see below it (as well as the GGE50FPV) came with the start of a nice dual hinge break-in. The (GGE50FPV) my daughter is using is also pictured which shows how nicely the pocket has formed.

Thank you for the useful information- have gone with your recommendation and ordered the GGE50FPV. Much appreciated!
