2017 or 2018 LXT?

DD has had a 2014 (which she loved) and a 2016 which she liked a lot too...
I really want to buy her the Ghost, but unfortunately she needs a bat now and they still play too many USSSA tourneys to justify having a bat she can't use. Have to wait until it has the USSSA stamp.

So - anyone have any feedback on the 2018 yet?

My DD got her 2018 as a warranty replacement. Not enough time to give any good feedback.

2016-2018 have the same performance. I would buy which ever one you can get cheaper. As it stands the 16 Xeno and the Ghost show no differences to me. We went to the cage and the exit speeds are identical but the Ghost has far more vibration

Right now my daughter's favorite bat is her 2017 Xeno. We have a 2017 LXT -9 gathering dust. Very interested in the Ghost.

DD does not care for the more end loaded feel of the Xeno. She is pretty little - just 5'1" and 80lbs - she much prefers the feel of a balanced bat. She is currently swinging a 2016 LXT and a 2016 Demarini Slapper. I am seriously drooling over the Ghost, but where DD plays USSSA is still very big so we need a USSSA approved bat at this point. Next year she will head to HS so hoping to hold out for the Ghost until then. Of course if my money tree starts blooming again I may cave before then. Pretty sure we are just going to look for the best deal we can find on the 2017 LXT and call it a day...even though she likes the look of the 2018 better.
