I know everything has changed since Xeno and Mako dominated the field. Now, I am going to buy for my DD a new bat and will appreciate all of your suggestions. Some brands release the new edition recently. This will really makes me confused!

So, any one can give me the list of top 10 fastpitch bats you WILL BUY or which bat is in your DD wishlist ? Thanks for you time!

I can only tell you what my DD loves, which is Demarini. She's a total snob about it and will hardly even try any other bats. Funny for a 10 year old to have such strong preferences. She has a CF8 currently. We're probably going to have to get her a new one in the fall, since she's grown 6" in the past few months.

Mine too, only Demarini. Had a CF8, now a CF9. To me, it will boil down to player preference. The majority of her team swings Louisville LXT or Zeno and then we have Mikens', Demarinis' and Eastons'. To me, there is not a standout where I see one that performs better than the others.

My DD loves her Louisville LXT. Bought her a Demarini and she used it for one tourney and went right back to her LXT. I would say the majority of her team has Demarinis. I think one girl on her team swings a Mako.

DD was a die-hard Easton fan until she swung a demo LS Xeno at a showcase - now she won't consider anything else. She loves the pop, has gotten used to the noise (she didn't like the infamous "glass breaking" sound) and loves the feel, especially the lack of vibration (she feels that the Demarini's have a lot of vibration at contact). We will be looking to get her a new Xeno this summer - I just wish that there was somewhere that she could swing a PXT to compare before we do...

once the Easton Ghost gets approved by USSSA, if ever, that's the one I getting DD. She's swung Demarini since 8u, had the xeno one season...didn't like it. had the old purple Easton Stealth bat that was a gamer only.

According to the Easton site in the questions area, they will be coming out with a USSSA version of the Ghost in 2018.

My teams (14,16,18 A and Gold) list of what they swing by personal choice

Easton Mako
LS LXT
Demarini CF
Easton Ghost
Boombah (forget the name but highest price lol). Happens to be my best slugger.hr hitter as well.

What I observe as a coach.
LS go dead faster than all combined, seen more ls snap than all others combined.
Mako are hit and miss on pop. The ones that have good pop out of wrapper seem to hold that pop FOREVER. Seriously.
Demarini hit well out of wrapper but they do split in half on occasion when my biggest hitters use them.

2016 LXT Plus (32/21) seems to be the favorite bat in DD's bag... and about 5 of her teammates either have the same bat or always ask to borrow it. I'll probably buy her another one just like it soon. It has been exceptionally durable! We are in our 2nd full year of use and its still hot as fire.
