Exactly right, change weighting and lower tech, charge 50 bucks more. Oh, and say that the PXT is only for the "elite" players ;)

And the Ghost is a completely diff bat than the LS or Demarini lines. They each have their own tech.

The Pxt is a completely new design that uses a 6 layer stacked barrel design with no inner limiting disc like the Xenos and Lxts. Yes, it is marketed towards the bigger power hitters that have more power to compress those 6 layers to add pop. Only time will tell if the different tech will help and if the $50 price jump is worth it.

Hopefully Easton has finally released a new design that will help them compete in the market dominated by Louisville and Demarini. Hopefully they have truly changed something besides the paint job this year.

The LXT does not have discs like the Xeno. I think it has one disc. The stacked layer started back when they added the "plus" on their bats (LXT Plus and Xeno Plus). Maybe not a "whole" 6 layers, but was multi layered then. The tech guts of the PXT is old school and no idea why its 400. If you want to shoot the breeze about the bats, I would be glad to with you or anybody. I enjoy doing it and my number is in my sig. I will bow out of this thread so I am not called a hater like before :)

Heck, Im just a newb at this stuff anyway.

And if you knew the insides of the past few years of Eastons, you would know its not a just a paintjob for their new bat finally

Although, I am a computer dummy...why in the heck does my paragraph look good, then when I hit the post thing, it
throws my paragraph spacing all over the place like a 5 year old..haha. I still cant figure that out. Then I have to go back
in my post and adjust it to look better again...what the heII????? :)

Just saw this thread and figured I would shoot a reply. I will have some actual data off a Hit Traxx machine in the coming week or two, but we have a split opinion in our house. My daughter loves the ASA Ghost, but I think the PXT drives the ball a bit more. The Ghost sounds so damn good it is hard to argue with her, hence the test we decided to do soon. The Ghost is ready to roll immediately and the PXT, which is well-documented, needs to be broken in. You wont lose with either...they both get the job done and it is likley a personal preference. The 19 PXT is ugly, but the Ghosts are always boring too, so the look doesn't matter much. My daughter plays on a high level travel team and the girls are fairly split between the two. In terms of the LXT comment below, it does in fact have a disc. The Xeno has two discs and the LXT has only 1 disc (see attached file). The PXT is nothing like the LXT and if your child cannot get exit speeds well into the 60's...the PXT may be a bit much for them at this point. You need to generate yoru own swing power to gain the benefit of this bats tech. The LXT is a great bat and no player should feel bad about using it. Most of the purest-hitting girls I have seen use the LXT. The PXT weighting, like the Ghost, is not balanced, but it is not end-loaded either...however, the weighting will feel closer to end-loaded when you swing it based on what most players state. LS internals.jpg I will circle back when I have data to share.
