Hello,

We are looking for a new glove for our 10year old dd. She is 4' 2", 73lbs with small hands. She is playing in 2 travel leagues.
We are looking for a high quality glove that fits her small hand. She has had the a few cheap youth gloves that fit well. She has an Allstar Vela 11.5 but it is too big for her hand. She has a 12" easton mako youth baseball glove right now that is using but i don't think its going to last long.

We have tried several adult gloves and had to return a few from online purchases. Any suggestions?

Youth gloves are the only gloves that fit her hand.

Thanks

I was going to say Allstar vela 12....
Maybe Mizuno prospect ,until her hands ready for the Allstar (nice glove)

DD was a little bit bigger then yours, not much, she used an Akadema which worked well.

I would classify it as a mid-level glove. I think is was $100.

My little DD used an Akadema as well at 10U/12U. She loves that glove - still keeps it in her bag and uses it on occasion.

Yes she has the mizuno prospect. I agree the Allstar is nice. Wish it fit better. I've been checking out the Vinci Fortus. Any opinions on that?

If you want to go high end there are couple Vinci reps on here, I did not want to spend that much money on my 10 YO player. :)

They have setup players with small hands, always have heard positive feedback.

At her age, she probably plays multiple positions? Check out the Vinci BRV-22, it's a 11.75" dual welted baseball glove made out of the 22 series steer hide.

Couple of things.....
11.75" should work great with an 11" ball (10U) or possibly look at the same Vinci specs in a 11.5" glove.
Vinci's dual Welted gloves have really tight finger stalls.
And the 22 series steer hide will be much easier to break in than kip leather!

Thanks for the info everyone. She does play mostly middle infield. She also will be going to 12u tryouts in August. Will a 11.75 be good for a 12u ball?
