I try not to get too hung up on that. How heavy they are on a scale doesn't really tell the whole story about how heavy they swing in a hitters hands.
There is a reason that Easton and Anderson used to own 80% plus of the bat market (in my area at least) with bats that were over sticker weight.
DD got to see one in person yesterday. She said likes how it swung - didn't have a chance to hit any balls with it. She did say the handle seemed really skinny - when compared to the handle of the new LXT. Hoping to hit some balls with it at another place close to her tourney tomorrow.

Pretty much proven this is not an underperformer. Weight wise, I will know better when they come in
The whole issue with getting across-the-board association approval for play is a concern to me. My daughter plays in multiple association tournaments and I'd really rather not have her fall in love with a bat that has to be rotated out for a different bat for certain tournaments. That's a pain in the a#%! I think we will stick with L/S or Demarini. My DD really likes her LXT and all the girls she plays with and against really like their CF's. Nobody that I've come across likes the Mako or Stealth Flex nearly as much as the L/S or Demarini. This Ghost bat looks like more Easton garbage......compared to CF's, LXT's and Xeno's.

Across the board issue is all about money in my opinion. I don't think even if it's not across the board it's really not that big of an issue(I know high school my DD plays AS A so no issue there). Most girls I know have more than one bat. Mine personally has a few.
Also not sure how you can look at a picture and say it looks like garbage when you haven't seen the performance. But that just my 2 cents.
