My DD swings both versions but I'll be honest she could see the differnece off the tee instantly but took a few weeks to transition the ghost to her game bat. She still says she has to make a adjustment when drag bunting as the handle on the ghost is longer than her old bat.

I hear ya.. the swing is extremely technical. I could off just a little and you will see different results. Why would everybody be raving about how hot a bat is and I am seeing something different. It could be the Indian in this case. Even the customers who are complaining about the bat breaking are also saying it's the hottest bat they ever had in their hands. Why should it be any different for my DD.. unless we have a dud or something.. or more likely she is doing something a little different.

Or maybe you're just more objective than others. IMO no bat is magical and what somebody thinks is great, is another persons dud. IMO the narrative on this forum is biased and based on one users constant posts. Look at some of the other forums and/or review sites and you'll see a much more balanced opinion of the bat in question and you'll certainly find the pattern of durability questions. Better yet go to the fields and observe the players and what they are swinging and having success with... it might not be what you think if you only read this forum. Even better is to actually take some bat exit speeds for your daughter and a few different bats... based on my experience as a dad and as a coach you aren't going to find a magical stick in any of the player bags. Sure, you'll see some small variations from bat to bat but if you keep the length/weight fairly close the exit speeds will be fairly close regardless of the hype. I do agree with you, that the sweet spot may or may not be larger on some bats more than others and that variation may allow one bat a higher level of success with mis-hits. $.02 :p

I do agree julray...I mean, some bats arent for everybody, but then usually, you aren't hitting good liners and having average go up if you don't like
the bat or feel of it. Something just seems off

Now I have to find an automotive forum, find a Ford thread and complain people are only talking about Fords :)

Is the handle longer? I thought so too, but then looked at the how short the tape was and it make the handle appear longer. When comparing the barrel lenght of a 32" Ghost to a Xeno 2015 32", the barrel is actually a little longer on the Ghost. When sitting side by side the Xeno barrel looks much longer because the tape comes up the handle so far

She loves the bat, best thing since slice bread :). I agree something seems off. She had practice last night and they were practicing slapping. My DD has never slapped or bunted in her life being a power hitter. So didn't really perform the technique very well. On one pitch she literally took a couple of steps and stuck the bat out. The sound off the bat was crazy and the ball flew past the short stop. Obviously the bat has pop. I think for the most part her hits to the outfield are glancing blows, like FP26 said, she needs to get behind and through the ball more. Right now I think shes pulling off and coming down to the ball. I'll start there

Im glad you are narrowing the search a little...hahaha. Its always tough for people to give you 20 suggestions about whats going on and to try
and process everything in a short time

When we got Demar Flippers in a few years ago...just by the handle tape, made each bat look diff...haha. The tape was overlapped less or more on each bat.
So when you had them on a rack, they looked like diff sizes but they were the exact same bat. Makes you do a double take...haha

I don't think there is much difference in barrel lengths between bigger drop10s

I have a Vic Interceptor...which is the only reason I knew to associate with it :)

Not that I can fix anything myself...haha

My daughter swings the 33 drop 10 ghost and loves it. Good pop. So far it hasn't broken.

I will say, that this bat seems to be breaking everywhere in our league. Thank goodness for Easton's return policy. I'm also finding that a higher percentage are breaking on the bigger (slugger type) hitters. Just my observations. One girl has already returned it twice in the first half of the season.
