2018 Easton Ghost

I told my one of my players about the Ghost yesterday and she said, "that's the bat Kirsti Merritt has been swinging in her Instagram videos for a few weeks". She showed me the vids and sure enough it is. My player was very excited that she had the scoop before me haha.

Problem starts with the associations. Each one has their own standards...and everybody wants their bat to be the hottest they can be. Hence,
with diff associations and standards, now bats that may be pushing the limit in one assoc, may not pass the other.

And I do agree that prices have been way too high, which is the main reason I have been fighting my butt off to do what I can to not price people
out of the market. I remember when 100 bucks was a high end bat. A few years ago, 300 was the high. Then 349, and now one bat has hit the 399 mark.
I really hope that doesn't start the trend. I know when one bat went to 349...all followed within a couple years. But Im hoping not.

And I said it back when it happened and people still wont believe me, those old Eastons were being removed no matter who pulled the trigger.

The Easton Ghost is now listed on Easton.com's bat lineup. They have a -10 and -9 model with the -10 showing available lengths from 32 to 34. Looks like ASA is the only major organization that will allow the bat. It also still shows pending for NCAA approval.

Youll find the market growing towards specific orgs. If you play only ASA this is perfect. If you play both asa and usssa then youll "buy two bats" is eastons thought. Works in slowpitch.
