Would the ghost be a good option for a slapper? I read that the ghost is slightly end loaded. Buddy is looks for a new bat for his DD.

Its not really endloaded, its the most balanced feeling bat Easton has made. But some of that is due to the fact that its the closest to sticker weight they
have made so far.

Bought DD a Ghost from Core a few weeks ago. 33/24. DD is a power hitter. This bat is down right scary in her hands.

If they made it in a 34/26 I would have gotten DD one in a heartbeat. But since they don't, bought her a 2017 Xeno during LS's one day 50% off sale for $150. Probably the last bat I'll buy her...*sniff*

Just wondering if anyone has done a compression test on the ghost. I have seen the videos from 99bats.com (I think that's it) and it looks like the lxt had the lowest so I was interested in seeing what the ghost was at.

I had a buddy buy a 34/25 Ghost and in no time, it was under 1100...which for any other FP bat would be illegal. Heck,
with the Ghost you have to preload to 500 first. That is a usssa tester, asa numbers are different so when I say 500, you don't think im nuts :)

Just letting you know, please beware of selling sites posting compression test numbers...I have seen some suspicious numbers appear on bats some companies
are needing to sell (I will not mention any company so don't ask). Its VERY, VERY easy. A little turn of two screws and you can get it to read anything you want.
I have tested bats for a long time, and I was kinda giggling when I saw some "reps" testing bats that they are trying to sell.

Unless you see them calibrate it before doing it...just take it with a grain of salt for fun.

If I can get ahold of a tester again shortly I will.

That would be great thanks. Unfortunately I'm very new to compression numbers. Only what I've seen on 99bats have given me any idea. Their tester said my rawlings quatro was 300. They had the lxt at 250 and the xeno at 275 I think. How would the 1100 translate?

Does anyone have a 11-12 year old DD who is swinging a Ghost? Any feedback you can share?

Purchased one for my daughter not to long ago (thanks, Core) but she hasn't had many opportunities to use it against live pitching. I read a "professional" review that said the Ghost may not be the best fit for average 12 year olds or younger. My daughter is 11 and maybe just a bit above average in ht/wt and strength. She is not what I would consider a true power hitter.

Her hitting instructor sees no problems with it, and I'm inclined to think it'll be fine in games as well. Just interested in any actual hitting experiences with this bat by 12 and unders. She has a '16 LXT, but she prefers to swing the Easton in practice.

So, forgive me if this has been discussed but I didn't want to go through all 37 pages again. What is the difference between the Ghost and the Easton Stealth Flex? All of the reviews and bat selling sites have under the Stealth "easton's top strongest composite material" but it is price pointed below the Ghost. Ghost descriptions mention the "double barrel" so I am assuming that is the big deal. I have read reviews and even people on here have mentioned problems with the Ghost cracking. I don't want to drop that kind of money on something that isn't durable.

So, performance wise, the difference between the two (talking 33/23 size), would there be much difference at all?
