DD got out to the field with her Ghost ( thanks as always CoreSoftball20 ) for the first time today. She wasn't feeling all that good, but still managed to put about 20 balls over the fence during her lesson which is way more than usual. Noticeably she was hitting balls over that which she was connecting with further towards the end of the bat. So positive signs :)

Of course she has a USSSA tournament this weekend so it isn't going with her - ASA the week after where it will make it's game debut.

You guys are getting me very interested in this Ghost bat. Lots of good reviews. My daughter will have to wait until Easton comes out with the smaller versions. She is only 9 years old.

I wish.......
The sound of the bat hitting the ball will turn heads. Like I said DD isn't a power hitter(more of a line drive hitter) if she hits a HR it's a mistake. She was able to hit a few 'mistakes' yesterday. The field we hit on is 205' dead center and 201' down the lines. The balls we used are old, like the pitcher and heavy(wet from rain and dew) so we didn't expect every ball to go over the fence. What we did find was almost every ball landed up against the fence. Whether from hitting the fence,1,2,3 hoping the fence, or rolling to the fence. Normally when retrieving the balls I have to zig zag the outfield picking balls up from the 160' range to the 205' range. Yesterday, I just had to walk along the fence line. Made my job easier and quicker.
DD liked the pop of the bat and felt it had a lot of power. I'm pleased with the performance of the bat.

My daughter's ghost arrived on Thursday (thanks CoreSoftball20). That night she took it to practice indoors and was slamming the ball. She isn't a power hitter but she might be one with this bat. Usually she is a Xeno girl but I think it will be staying in her bag unless she is playing USSSA. She has a camp and showcase next week and I can't wait to see how she hits outdoors with it.

We live in Canada so with the exchange rate and shipping it was cheaper for us to purchase locally. All I can say is Wow! DD owns all the Makos and the Stealth Flex and none of them compare to this bat in terms of ball distance. We purchased it yesterday, went to the diamond and she hit about 2 buckets.Ball traveled further than any she`s hit with her other bats! She noticed immediately that there is absolutely no sting in her hands even when she hit balls at the end of the barrel.DD also loves the sound of the bat when she made contact with the ball.I see Easton selling tons of these!
