I just picked up a Rawlings 11 3/4" glove for my 14 yr old shortstop/pitcher.
Her middle school coach asked her why she had a baseball glove.
Is this glove too small?
She plays Rec, travel & middle school right now.
If it makes a difference she is 5 ft 2in and 125 lbs.

For a SS/pitcher it is probably just fine. My DD is 5'8" and in college and uses a 12". She may need something bigger in the OF.

If she has good soft hands I think a 11-3/4" or 12" glove is perfect for a SS or 2nd baseman. I don't see an issue at all for middle infield.

Usually in the OF you want the bigger glove but for infield that should be just fine...honestly she wold do fine in outfield as well.

My pitcher/SS/3B has an 11.75" glove. She's only 2nd year 10U but it's a women's glove. We've played up several times and she does fine w/ the bigger ball with it too. We actually went down from a 12" when she needed a new one. I've read smaller can be better at SS (to a point anyway).

Does it have the Velcro back? Surely a few other girls have 11 3/4 or 12 inch gloves. Maybe the style looks like baseball?

I consider it small for SS. It depends on how much the pocket will work in and get bigger.
In all honesty, it was made for baseball.
