Some have never seen what insides of some bats look like. Not magic pixy dust
or gold covered like some may think :). Here is a pic of the inside pieces of a new tech bat.

I have a little more spare time now and figured I would mess around

Todd,

Would you mine explaining what each part is..... My DD's bat is currently acting funny hot one day and then a vibrating dud the next. I figure something is going on with something on the inside. Maybe shifting out of place or something like that.

I would have no problem explaining to you what these pieces do just to bs about bats a little. But these particular guts are def not
from a bat your dd would have, but it is an inner barrel technology and would love to see this particular tech employed asap.

What bat does your dd have?

But I did just see the new Easton Ghost will have a double barrel technology. Holy shat...you mean Easton may be changing
some stuff...only took years.

Have you tried it just to try and see what she is talking about? What you describe doesn't sound like an interior issue. Demarini
doesn't have all kinds of discs or inner barrels. Could be a connection issue or maybe a dead spot (doesn't normally happen as
much as people claim which is why I am very hesitant to even mention it).

I would try it out and really get a true feel of what is going on. Maybe she isn't catching the balls flush which makes the bat
feel "off"

I have tried it myself doing self toss. While using, it felt like nothing was being hit solid and it would vibrate. Kind of sounds like hitting a sack of rice at times also. The bat probably has some where around 10k hits on it or more. Also since this issue arisen I periodically tap the bat on the edge of my homes foundation and it seems as if sometimes the sweet spot is pretty small and other times seems a good bit larger.

I would never suggest that if you want a CF to last. So it could def be on its last leg

Thanks for the response Todd..... I am clueless when it comes to what kind of punishment these bats can take. Maybe it is time to pick up a practice bat. Do you have any suggestions on a cheaper bat that could take a lot of punishment?
