Looking for a inexpensive bat for my 16y/o.
2016 Easton Mako 33/23 vs 2015 Easton FS - 1 33/23
Narrowed down to these.
Any suggestions

My DD#2 has an Easton FS-1 and we see lots of them around here. They were a great bargain when sports authority closed down. She's a relatively scrawny 12U and she gets good pop out of it. Subjectively I think DD#1's xeno is a better bat, but the FS-1 is ok.

Mako or torque for $99 is not a bad option. Dad needs to put a few swings on it to break it in. Good durable bat.

I'd go Mako. The FS was not known for being a great bat.
