Does anyone have any experience with a bat losing its pop without any noticeable signs of damage besides normal wear and tear? I don't want to say went it dead. It just seems that the ball just doesn't travel as far as it use to. It seems as if you have to absolutely hit it on the screws for it to resemble its old self and even then seems to be lacking. I am not totally sure how many hits is on the bat but it is the only one that gets used so I would probably say at least a couple thousand hits on it.

Warranty still?

Yes still has a warranty..... the little I have dealt with Demarini I am not sure if they would actually warranty something like this. The impression I got with another bat was that it basically had to be busted open?

IME all composites die or break and the CF9 is no exception. If it's got at least a couple thousand swings on it and if it really doesn't perform like it used to, it's dead ( which isn't covered by warranty) and you've gotten your money's worth. If it's got several thousand swings on it and it's not dead, but the hitters think it's dead, it may as well be dead and you've gotten your money's worth ou of it. Either way, it's time for a replacement bat!

Disclosure: I believe you can't ever have too many bats.
