I have a 2016 CR8 that my daughter really likes but have been told that a 2014 LXT is red hot. So anyone have any advise on which bat is better? Should I try to get my hands on a 2014 LXT?

DD had the 2014 xeno and it was a very good bat and considered by many to be a particularly hot bat. She broke it last year and got the 2016 xeno to replace it. Her coach then got her to try the 2016 cf8 during a slump. A triple in the next game and the xeno has not been out of her bag since. Tonight dd hs team had a hit a thon fundraiser. While dd was hitting I heard a parent say that they had one of those bats at home and they needed to get their dd to use it. The sweet spot is huge and I can hit a ball farther with it than the xeno.
2014 LXT is a hammer! When my DD's broke it was a very sad day!
DD has a 2015 that has been a very good bat. It's a little ugly & abused, but held up well & still has good pop. I don't believe they changed anything between the 2014 & 2015, but I could be wrong. That being said she also has a CF8 slapper that she really likes a lot. She seems to be favoring the CF8 here lately, but that could just be because she is outgrowing the LXT.

DD has swung both Xeno and CFX, hit about same with both of them. Looking into new Demarini now she said likes the feel of it better. Saw demarini has the new bat out am looking at it. Haven't seen any reviews out yet.
Reports are that the CFX won't be released for general consumption until June.

I meant that my DD has swung CFx (meaning CF5, CF6, etc, not the new CFX).
I was surfing several websites last week that are selling limited number of CFX, but said they will not ship until 4/26. Maybe I misread.
